Nerva

Nerva, full Latin name: Marcus Cocceius Nerva
Born in Narnia, now Narni, Italy.
Reign period: 96 AD – 98 AD

Nerva came from a family of the Roman aristocracy. The emperor had no direct relationship with the army and therefore they did not support him. According to Tacitus, a Roman historian and a contemporary of Nerva, his reign was the dawn of the "Golden Age" of Rome.
