Ancient Streets and Quarters

Lots of fragments of ancient streets and insulae (quarters) were found here. They can be seen from the pedestrian areas of the streets passing by - Patriarh Evtimiy Str. and Tzar Boris III Blvd.

It is assumed that here were the representative residential and public buildings of Philippopolis.

The complete survey of archaeological structures is ahead. Here probably lies the answer to the question how and where the people of Ancient Philippopolis lived.
